Our TOS could be like everybody else's, a long drawn out document written in legal speak. Instead I'm just going to make ours cut and dry. This TOS pertains to The Muddy Tire, sometimes called the site, my site, or our site.
General: While we strive to make sure our site content (including but not limited to GPS data, Trail Info., posted pictures, free or paid advice) is accurate, we are not responsible for any consequences that using it may cause. And the same thing goes for anything posted by our users. And as a user you cannot post anything illegal or anything that you do not own the copyright to or have permission to use. Coarse language may be used here and if that offends you, just don't read it, however everything is subject to editing by our staff at our discretion. We will not sell or give away any of your personal information, but if it is somehow obtained (such as by a hacker), the site will not be held responsible.
Submitting Pictures: If you have us post your pictures on our site, they will either be linked directly from your photo host or saved locally on our server to be viewed by the public. Pictures that are saved on our server are only for use by this site and may not be hotlinked to another site. You will retain the copyright; after all they're your pictures. Also, they can be removed at any time if you want them to be with a request from you (send to admin[at]themuddytire[dot]com), but where's the fun in that, let everyone see your pictures.
Submitting Trail Info.: If you submit any trail information, which includes but is not limited to reviews, GPS data or contact information, you will be given credit for certain information (we can't clog up the site with credits), but it will become the property of The Muddy Tire upon submission. We’re not trying to be stingy, we just don’t want any good content to be removed. If you absolutely have to have your submitted content removed, send us and email (admin[at]themuddytire[dot]com) and hopefully we can work something out.
